WebJul 23, 2024 · May not be the same thing, but my Sunsetter awning will retract when the wind sensor battery is low or removed. Apparently, it's a safety feature so that it doesn't get left out without 'protection' when the battery goes. Pulled my hair out over that until the CS person explained it.
