WebI have the same bass and agree! The "expensive" ones are very good. The cheap ones have dull sounding pick-ups. The JB-75 has been praised and sounds a lot better in demos than the PJ-4, thanks to the Roswell pick-ups. The Harley Benton MM-84A SB Deluxe Series for example seems to have nice accents.
