WebTl;Dr Factory reset the device using the power/menu/select button on the Tvision Hub. Once powered back on, put the remote in pairing mode (red flashing light). Then while the light is still flashing hold the power/menu/select button on the device till the remote successfully connects. Not sure the factory reset is necessary but seemed to help.
